Iris Wang, Founder and Artistic Director, completed her Masters of Fine Arts degree in 1981 and started working for an interior decorator in Chicago, in a project involving fabric-covered ceiling tiles. From that experience, she committed to provide the most beautiful and durable fabrics, a goal that eventually solidified as her design studio: Brentano. Iris and her team of designers are always expanding the company’s collections catalog taking into consideration fiber choices, colorfastness, fire retardancy, and weave structure. You can find classic patterns as well as fresh and innovative ideas that become trends in the interior decorating market.

Two of Brentano’s most popular fabrics collections are:
* Clearwater: These designs are inspired in the delicate flow and reflections of light on water. Channel and Stillwater fabrics are made with Bella Dura recyclable yarn and are bleach resistant. Fontaine features a refined pattern that is charming and scenic. Lili Pond is a geometric and versatile design ideal for indoor and outdoor fabrics. Triton is a creative faux leather that is available in 9 different colorways and can withstand harsh elements.

* Sovereign: A sophisticated collection that reinterprets classic designs and motifs, featuring intricate elements with a contemporary approach. Courtyard offers bold and modern designs; Empire features luxurious mohair velvet; Ink and Quill present feathered designs; and Regiment, an adorable ottoman weave.
