Matthew Williamson is a talented British designer whose inspiration derives from nature and travel. His designs are colorful and full of intricate patterns. He graduated from Central Saint Martins College in London, obtaining a BA degree in Fashion and Print Design, and since then started working as a freelancer for different projects. In 1996 he founded his design company with the help of Joseph Velosa, current CEO of the brand. He has received successive nominations for Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards, and his designs are now featured in several fashion magazines. In 2013, Matthew Williamson launched his first collection of furnishing fabrics and wallpapers in collaboration with Osborne & Little. His collections are available in different countries through the brand’s showrooms:

BELVOIR
The signature color palette in this collection features aquamarine, azure blue, coral, jade, and turquoise, with subtle ivory, pearl, and silver colorways. The fabric and wallpapers patterns in this collection have been designed to coordinate naturally.

CALOBRA
The versatile chenilles coordinate perfectly with bold Mediterranean patterns in Matthew Williamson’s Deya collection. The bright color palette includes cerise, coral, jade, peacock, and turquoise, combined with neutrals like ivory, silver, and smoke.

CUBANA
This exotic collection is inspired by pre-revolutionary life in Cuba, and features wallpapers and weaves ideal for upholstery projects. Predominant colors in Cubana are coral, fuchsia, grass, jade, peach, turquoise, and ultramarine.

DEYA
This Matthew Williamson’s collection has a Mediterranean spirit. It is inspired in the hills of the Balearic island of Mallorca where the designer spends several months each year. The collection features colorful embroidered and printed fabrics.

DURBAR
The magnificence of India has inspired this vibrant collection. The color palette features cerise, jade, teal, and turquoise, working together with subtle tones of linen. Durbar coordinates well with existing collections of weaves and wallpapers like Cubana, Durbar, and Miramar.
