This iconic brand was founded in France in 1880 by Achille Brunschwig. It started as a tapestry mill that won the favors of the most influential people because of its grand designs and meticulous weaving techniques. 45 years later, Roger Brunschwig, son of Achille, opened a New York office in 1925.

Currently, Brunschwig & Fils not only designs but produces high-quality carpets, fabrics, furniture, trimmings, and wallpapers. Its creations adorn grand buildings like the Palace of Versailles in France, and The White House, in the USA, among other important venues. The success of this brand is based on its exceptional craftsmanship and in its understanding of classic French design and modern trends to create appealing products that speak of beauty and good taste.

The brand has treasured the designs offered since the beginning years in its 10,000 plus documents archive. This is a source of inspiration for the new team of designers, who reuse and update old proposals perfectly suited for today’s world, thus continuing the tradition of providing timeless elegance in all its designs.

Brunschwig & Fils Cevennes collection presents traditional and vintage styles in an ample color palette. Here you can choose from animal prints, damask motifs, and classic florals with oriental influences. The Baret fabric collection pays homage to Jeanne Baret, the first French female explorer who traveled around the world in the 18th century. It features embroideries, prints, velvets, and weaves.
